A quick guide to buying and selling on the map, and how we protect deals.
For buyers
Open the map — all listings are shown as price pins. Pan and zoom to see what's for sale nearby. Search works in three modes: exact match, match by meaning, and area widening when nothing is nearby.
If there are no exact matches nearby, AI finds similar listings and tells you so with a note under the search bar. That way you never hit an empty result.
On a listing card tap "Message" — a chat opens. The seller can hide their phone; AI watches the conversation for safety and warns about suspicious requests.
Prices are stored in the seller's currency, but you can pick a convenient currency in the filters — an approximate conversion at the current rate appears next to the price.
For sellers
Tap "Post" and photograph the item. AI recognizes it, picks a category and title and suggests a market price. You just review the draft and publish — three taps.
AI analyzes similar nearby listings and shows a market range. You always set the final price.
Basic posting is free. Paid options — promoting a listing (a gold pin and priority in results) — are optional.
Right after publishing — the pin appears on the map in real time and is seen by other users nearby.
Safety
Every seller has a Trust Score — a rating from deal history, verification and response speed. AI in the chat warns about prepayment requests and attempts to move the deal off-platform.
Don't send a prepayment before inspecting the item in person. You can report any listing or message — it goes to moderation.
You decide whether to show your number or chat only. By default the contact is hidden and the conversation is protected.
Account
Sign in with Apple, Google or Telegram, or get a sign-in link by email. No separate password needed.
No. Selly runs fully in the browser — on desktop and phone. The mobile version looks like a native app.
Profile settings include data management and account deletion. On request via "Contacts" we'll help you export or delete your data.
